This was a college project to illustrate 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho.
Briefly summarised, the boy Santiago meets a gypsy fortune teller who tells him to go in search of treasure that he dreamt of. He sets off in a caravan across the desert headed for the Pyramids in Egypt. While stopped at an oasis, the boy meets the Alchemist. In conversation with the sun and the wind, Santiago amazes a rival tribe who wish to kill him but then spare his life. Upon arriving in Egypt, he is attacked and robbed by thieves. Finally he finds the treasure buried beneath a sycamore tree in an old church.
